Online rent collection questions

How can a landlord collect rent online?

With Porcher, a landlord connects a payout account, sets up rent for the property, and invites the tenant. The tenant signs in to review the amount due and pays by ACH bank transfer or card.

Who pays the online rent payment fee?

The tenant pays the transaction fee on top of the stated rent: 0.75% for an ACH bank payment or 3.75% for a credit or debit card payment. The landlord receives 100% of the stated rent.

Do tenants need a different payment link each month?

No. Tenants use the Porcher tenant portal to see their own rent due and payment history after signing in with the invited email address.

Does Porcher keep a rent payment history?

Yes. Porcher records rent payments in the landlord and tenant views so both sides can review payment history without maintaining a separate spreadsheet.
